This Saturday is Earth Hour. Initiated by WWF in 2007 the idea is simple.
Once a year, you take 1h and do something good for nature.
In return for all the food, water, oxygen, medicine & co. we get.
Fair deal right?
I will dedicate my hour to picking up pollution from my local nature that I enjoy daily.
👉 13 wild ideas for your hour:
1. Plant something. Ideally native.
2. Go tech-free for an hour and reconnect with nature.
3. Cook a planet-friendly meal using veggie, local, seasonal ingredients.
4. Watch a nature doc you’ve been meaning to (no shame if it’s David Attenborough again).
5. Join a local nature org or volunteer for a cleanup.
6. Read a chapter from a book about nature, climate or rewilding.
7. Write a letter to your local rep asking for better nature protection and restoration.
8. Take a mindful walk and try to notice 10 wild species around you.
9. Switch off all non-essential lights and candles. Enjoy the mood.
10. Create something inspired by nature: a drawing, poem, playlist, meme, whatever feels right.
11. Talk to someone about biodiversity and why it matters to you.
12. Share one thing you’ve changed to live more sustainably and inspire others to do the same.
13. Make a mini wildlife corner in your yard or balcony (water, shelter, food = win).

Have a wild week,
